A Message from Alderman Reilly: As Alderman of Chicago’s 42nd Ward, it’s my honor to partner with the Streeterville Business Alliance to serve Chicago’s downtown business community.

The Streeterville neighborhood is one of the largest and most vibrant neighborhoods in Chicago, thanks to the excellent work done by the Streeterville Chamber of Commerce. As one of the city’s most popular neighborhoods, it offers residents and visitors an unparalleled combination of the finest restaurants, hotels, shopping destinations, hospitals and cultural attractions.

The City of Chicago continues to break tourism and visitorship records and Streeterville is at the center of it all. Situated between the Magnificent Mile and Lake Michigan, Streeterville remains the top destination in Chicago for millions of visitors each year. For the past 31 years, the Streeterville Chamber of Commerce has been essential in ensuring businesses are able to thrive and meet the demands of this growing neighborhood.

I am grateful for the important service the Streeterville Business Alliance provides. I look forward to continuing our partnership in 2020, working to support local businesses and help drive future investment, job creation and growth in this important downtown community.

A Message from Alderman Hopkins: I am proud to serve as Alderman of the 2nd Ward and to represent the people who make Streeterville a great place to live. Our thriving downtown neighborhood’s numerous shops, entertainment venues and fine dining establishments make it one of the most desirable places to live in the city. Streeterville is also home to iconic landmarks that have helped establish Chicago as a world-class city and draw visitors from all over the world, such as the Hancock Tower, Magnificent Mile shopping district and the Lakefront Trail.

Streeterville’s residents care deeply about their neighborhood, and their dedication is reflected in all of the amenities Streeterville has to offer. Whether I am visiting with neighbors at the MCA Farmer’s Market, playing with my son Ryan at Seneca Park and Lake Shore Park, or attending local community events, I am always filled with appreciation for the individuals and organizations that have worked to create Streeterville’s vibrant community and business district.

As your Alderman, I am grateful to have strong community partners like the Streeterville Organization of Active Residents, the Streeterville Young Professionals and the Lake Shore Park Advisory Council, which have worked tirelessly with my office and community stakeholders to make Streeterville a safer and more prosperous place. I also look forward to working with the new members of the Streeterville Business Alliance as they rebuild the organization and bring a fresh perspective to the neighborhood.
