As a Commercial Banker, Gina provides business customers with a complete line of traditional deposit and credit products, including on-line banking, lines of credit, letters of credit, term loans, SBA guaranteed loans and investment SWEEPS. She works as the Vice President of AMCORE Bank. Active in the community, Gina is the President of the Streeterville Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the River North Association. She is on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Chamber of Commerce and serves as Chair of 42nd Ward Alderman Reilly’s Women Committee. Gina also serves on the Executive Council of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. From 2003 to 2005, she was a speaker at the National “Speaking of Women’s Health” forum hosted by Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She helped women learn ways to build their net worth through leveraging of existing assets, such as real estate and effectively using financial services offered by retail banking institutions.

Dr. Metcalf is President of Metcalf and Associates, an educational consultant enterprise. She is Emeritus Director of Education for Harrison Middleton University and Emeritus Director of Education for Humanities and Sciences Academy. Dr. Metcalf earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.

Steve has been employed at North Bank since June, 2000 as an Assistant Vice President. His primary duties include originating and closing of commercial and consumer loans, and loan portofolio servicing of existing accounts. Mr. Craig also serves as the bank's Compliance and CRA Officer in charge of ensuring the bank's compliance with state and federal laws. He has been in banking since 1993 and has worked at two other banks before coming to North Bank. Mr. Craig is a member of the Illinois Bar and graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1991. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign in 1987.

Ralph P. Alberto owner of RCPA Financial, a public accounting firm located at 307 N. Michigan Ave., concentrates on personal and business budgeting, tax, succession planning, and financial growth strategies with satellite offices in Roselle, IL and Palm Springs, California. The firm was originally located in Northbrook, IL. Mr. Alberto is a native of the Chicago area and a graduate of DePaul University. He is the immediate past President of C.A.I.R.S. (Chicago Area Interpreter Referral Service) providing interpreting for the deaf community and is currently serving on the board of Face the Future Foundation providing support and medical access to underprivileged children born with ear, eye, nose, and throat concerns.

Michael Vito has been the manager for the Seneca Hotel & Suites for the past nine years. He is a Chicago native and resident of downtown. Mr. Vito also serves as member of the Board of Directors for the Italian Chamber of Commerce and the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association. He is an active member of the Illinois Lodging Association and of the Chicagoland Apartment Association.

Jim Tyll has been owner and operator of Press, Type and Copy, a Streeterville area quickprint / copy shop, since 1982. Before that Jim was involved in the franchise quickprinting business. Jim and wife Marilyn, a Chicago Public School music teacher have 2 wonderful children. Jim has been an active Chamber member since 1988.

Mimi Driscoll is the Concierge Manager & Community Liaison for Nordstrom Michigan Avenue.
Mimi has been on the SCC Board of Directors since 2004. She is currently a member of Program Committee and has chaired several events for the chamber over the past few years.

Fran is a pharmacist with CVS and an Independent Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. A graduate of the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy, she worked for independent pharmacies prior to joining Osco Drugs in 1990. Fran also has past experience as a manager of a music studio connected with the American Conservatory of Music and is a co-founder of the Birch Creek Music Center in Door County, Wisconsin.

Brad Johnson has been Director of Sales & Marketing at The Courtyard by Marriott Magnificent Mile since April 2004. Brad has worked in the hotel industry for over 17 years. He has worked for Hyatt Hotels, Sonesta International Hotels, and The Hyland Group.

Norman Light is a practicing attorney in the City of Chicago and has been one for a longer time than he would like to admit. His practice consists of Real Estate, Corporate and Labor-Management law. He has served as Chairman of the Chicago Bar Association Contracts Sub-Committee of the Real Estate Section, and has been involved in numerous legal and charitable organizations.

Hollis Savin is President of CityLiving Design, Inc. a company on the fast-track as the source for unique residential and commercial banquettes as well as hand-crafted modern furniture. Savin was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the International Furniture and Designers Association. Previously as founder of Yuppie Gourmet, a multi-million dollar international chocolate company, Savin was cited as one of the Top Entrepreneurs Under Forty by Entrepreneur Magazine in 1990. A guest speaker on start –up companies and entrepreneurship, Savin has appeared on Live at Five in Miami, Florida, Detroit Morning Show NBC and Wisconsin Women Entrepreneurs. She has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, New York Daily News, San Francisco Chronicle, Venture Magazine, Good Housekeeping Magazine, Marketing Week, Advertising Age, The Toronto Star, Working Woman Magazine and Inc. Magazine. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, Savin holds a Masters Degree in Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Science. She is a Chicago native and resides in the Streeterville community.


Nahlah Daddino-Board Member
Nahlah Daddino, J.D., is the Director of Community Relations for Children’s Memorial Hospital, the only freestanding hospital exclusively for children in the state of Illinois. Prior to this, she served as Director of Community Relations of Advocate Health Care and Director of Hospital Relations for Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Prior to her roles with Advocate, Nahlah practiced health care law for six years. Nahlah is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Illinois Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations.

Tessa Burton - Board Member
Tessa Burton is Director of Marketing and Internet Strategies for Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she is responsible for advertising, branding, market research, internet strategies and clinical program marketing for the hospital. Prior to joining the hospital she was CMO at Giant Step, an internet consulting firm and also served for two and a half years as CMO at the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago. She has a long history of working with non profits here in town – she was in charge of viewer marketing at WTTW for many years in the ‘90’s, where she raised over $90 million on behalf of the public television station. She has lived in Chicago since 1979, with her two sons, and volunteers her time with the Arts and Business Council in a marketing capacity.


Mable Buckner - Board Member
Mable Buckner of Platinum events has been in the business for over 18 years. She has done work for some of Chicago's high profile politicians, which include Secretary Jesse White and Senator Dick Durbin. She is one of the planners of choice especially for Las Vegas bling affairs which has included the launch of Niketown, NFL Superbowl party ( Jacksonville, Florida) Las Vegas" NBA All Star 2007" week long athletes parties, grand opening of the hottest night clubs on the strip, after-fight parties for Oscar de la Hoya and the late Godfather of Soul James Brown at the House of Blues. She has arranged the gala and the entertainment for trade shows in major Corporate Companies. Mable has received numerous awards and is a certified wedding and meeting planner. Platinum Events takes care of everything from invitation design, catering, staffing and floral arrangements.

Vince J. Gavin- Board Member
Vince Gavin is Director of Government and Special Operations at Navy Pier, a position that he has held since June 2007. A native of Chicago, Vince graduated from Loyola University with a degree in Marketing & Accounting. He spent many years working for the City of Chicago, first in Law Enforcement and then as Deputy Liquor Commissioner. Vince is also Co-Executor of the Rubloff Trust in Chicago.

Troy Byington-Board Member
Troy G. Byington is the Rooms Division Director at the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel, a position that he has held since January, 2003. Troy graduated from Brigham Young University, Hawaii, with a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management. In the past twenty years, he has worked in the hotel industry in a variety of managerial positions.
